I am a descendant of James Carnahan, b.1755 in Cumberland, Pa. I would like to know how reliable your information is on his ancestors. I may be able to add further info on his descendants, if you want it.

Richard,
I obtained my information on the Carnahan family from the Mormon website. It is at www.lds.org. I am unsure of the veracity of it, however.
Matilda Emaline Carnahan is my paternal great-grandmother who married James Henry Lowe.
If I can be of further help, please let me know. We welcome any information that you have as well.
