If everyone is interested, I will create a Flip Album at the end of each year that can be downloaded or snail mailed on a CD. I will also post the Flip Album for online viewing. If you want an example of a Flip Album go here http://www.flipalbum.com. Please reply with your thoughts.

I like the idea of the flip album, but let's see if anyone else is interested. Would we need to recreate the comment or "cutlines" for each photo? Also, we need to talk about how to create video for the website and where to put it for the new photo journal I'm starting for our Fenrich Family Tour. Any ideas on how to make this "photo journal" really cool and interactive?

I like the idea of a Flip Album, too. Please remember, however, that it's a copyrighted name when the two words are joined. As concerns the comments...the flip album could contain the original description of the photo on the LH page facing the photo(s.) The premise of the copyrighted program, FlipAlbum, is to present a photo album in an easily usable form that anyone can use. Comments to the album would have to be handled separately. Because of download times, sometimes it's easier to distribute CD's. This can be done without financial penalty as long as the CD (or use on a website) is not done for commercial purposes. This is an excellant program and the owner is E-Book Systems (www.flipalbum.com) in LA. They state, in bold type, that their product is "neither shareware or freeware" and "Redistribution is expressly prohibited."
