Looking forward to the karaoke and bowling extravaganza on Saturday! Kevin, this time let Carol go first. You always go first, including being born 4 minutes before Carol.

So how did the party go? I haven't been bowling in so long, sounds like fun... We tried a few monts ago, but you can never get a lane! The leagues have taken over!

Cheryl,

The party was great. About 30 of Kev and Carol's family and friends met at a BBQ place and had dinner and exchanged gifts. Then we went to the bowling alley where Kevin moonlights at the snack bar. There were leagues until 11:30PM, so we couldn't bowl right away. In fact, we wound up not bowling at all. But the bar was open and the karaoke machine worked just fine.

What fools we made of ourselves. As you can see in the attached picture of Kevin and Carol, he is in his blonde stage again. I told him he should sing a Billy Idol song, but he didn't. Nan was the only party pooper who didn't sing. Rhys got up and sang "Devil in Disguise" in Elvis impersonator style and we couldn't believe how much he sounded like the King. Karen sang Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and got the guys whooping and hollering in the bar. I only sang one song as a soloist and one song with my son and a couple of sibs, but sang along with all the songs back at the table. The next day, Sunday, I was commentator at church and I was afraid that my voice was too damaged by abuse and smoke from the bar. I did okay though.
