Regretfully, I inform you of the death of Lorraine Louise Fenrich Day at 3 AM on 07Dec04. "Aunt Lorraine" as she was known by most of her neices and nephews, died of congestive heart failure after several months of hospitalization events. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas L. Day and her sons, David Michael Day of California and Timothy Allan Day of Farmington Hills, MI., and many neices and nephews.
Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Nick celebrated 64 years of marriage on August 3, 2004. She will be missed for her humor, her quick wit and "spunkiness", and her family devotion. All "Fenrichs" will miss her so very much.
Aunt Lorraine is individual #44 in the Decendants of Michael Fahnrich Fenrich Family Tree...and she was some individual. I remember well our last meeting during the summer of 2003 with Lorraine and Nick, and my cousin Patt Braun at a hotel restaurant near their home in Beaverton, MI. We had a "ball", laughing at past remembrances of family and friend alike. She was some kind of "special lady" and the eldest living FENRICH.
The next day we had a "feast" with both of them at their home in Beaverton. MI. When Colleen and I finally said goodbye to them, I was so stuffed with food that I thought I'd never get that off my girth. Come to think of it...I do not think I have.
The funeral home is Hall Funeral Home, 430 S. Ross, Beaverton, MI 48612, (989) 435-9841. The funeral is from St. Ann Catholic Church on Friday, 12/10/04 at 11 AM. The church is located at 5738 S. M-30, Edenville, MI 48620 (989) 689-4414.
Condolances can be sent to Uncle Nicholas L. Day whose home address is 1202 Janice Lane, Beaverton, MI 48612-8844.
We won't easily forget this lady of ladies.
Submitted by her nephew, Donald R. Fenrich, Jr.

I will miss Aunt Lorraine too. She was a spirited woman with lots of love to go around to her family. Our thoughts are now with Uncle Nick, her beloved husband of 64 years.
