And also, happy 38th birthday to Charles Wesley Draper, son of Sharon Lowe McDonnell and Ruffus Wesley Draper.

Want to know the history of April Fool's Day, like how it probably started about 1582 when the calendar switched to the Gregorian version 1.0 that we are now using and which started on January 1 from one that started on April 1. Those difficult users who fought the conversion, were called fools.

Also, Scotland celebrates for 2 days and Mexico celebrates on December 28. These and other fun facts can be found at http://wilstar.com/holidays/aprilfool.htm.

For the 100 all-time best April Fool's Day jokes, check this site out:

Have fun and don't play too rough boys and girls.

Not really, but I thought so for a minute. Jim and I went to the library and when he checked out, the librarian said he had a $5 fine on his record. I asked if it was an April Fool joke and she said "No, if it were, I would say that you owed $150!"

Brad was almost an April Fool's Baby. No Joke, he was born on March 31.
Cheryl gave birth to Brad in California and we lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the time. When we came home from work our 17 year old son Donald said something like "Oh by the way Cheryl had a kid." I said it's a little early for April fool jokes isn't it? But Brad was no joke and was born one of the cutest little babies you'd ever want to see!
