Even if you are not descended from Matilda Carnahan or married to a Celt as I am, you will enjoy the traditions and recipes that the Scots do for Christmas, New Year's Eve (called Hogmanay in Scotland), and Burns' Night (January 25 is Robert Burns' birthday and much celebration takes place on this date in Scotland). There are recipes for Roastit Bubblyjock wi' Cheston Crappin, Kipper Cream, Haggis wi' tatties an' neeps. Yum!
