It seems we have all been so busy these last few months (including myself), that the family site is becomeing quite stale.
I've been trying to think of some interesting stuff to post on the site, and am at a total loss for ideas! Any ideas, stories or other goodies out there?

Since it's the season for vacations maybe family members can recommend one of their favorite trips. It could be a short weekend adventure or a longer two week vacation. What do you think?

Good idea Mom... Any suggestions from your neck of the woods?

Hi Cheryl,
Yes, I can recommend some great vacation destinations in Florida - and they are not the crowded Orlando Theme Parks.

We like the Florida Panhandle for the uncrowded, clean, white beaches that go on forever. I especially recommend Mexico Beach, a little town with lots of charm and the greatest seafood.

Sarasota is another area to explore not only the beaches, but cultural activities such as the Ringling Art Museum. It houses one of the finest collections on the East Coast.
