Google has a search that looks for websites 'related' to the one you enter. Why use it? Easy!
Example: you are interested in mosaic making but are new to the hobby. You have found a website that has some good information buy you need more information that it has to offer. You can use the Google 'related' search to find similar websites in the Google database.
Try this link in the tool: www.hannacroismosaics.com then try double-clinking on "Classic Mosaics", then "Tiles on the Web." The shape will expand and rotate as Google finds more related sites.
Something else fun: enter www.microsoft.com into the tool, then enter www.ebay.com. Can you connect the 2?
This program gives you a graphical star representation of your target site and sites similar to it. From there you can click on another site in the diagram and you the tool will perform another 'related' search on that website.
Eventually some kind of graphical search tool will lead people all over the internet. For now this is only a toy which needs much work. Imagine a 3D model of the internet and all related websites. It would be a cool way to get around!
Here are a few example searches:

Thanks for explaining this Brad... you should have been a teacher! I see how helpful it can be. Your example about the mosaic search really showed me the bottom line and I can see how useful a search tool like this can be.

Brad and Cheryl,
I use Google all the time for research and am thrilled to learn of the related links. In fact, I will try using it today for an article I'm writing about trendy new window fashions.
