Charles Floyd Lowe died on December 4, 1993. On this anniversary of this death, I am remembering him fondly and thinking how very much he would have enjoyed this website. He would have been a frequent contributor. He is through his children though.

I miss you Dad.

Love,
Sharon

Although I don't remember too much about Uncle Chuck, Mom has shared with me that he was a very intellegent, loving man and mentioned that you are very much like him Sharon. Taking the time to remember good times with our loved ones is how we live on. I'm sure he is smiling down on his family always.

As you know Sharon, I was very close to your dad, my uncle Chuck during my growing up time. He was smart, funny and willing to share his knowledge with me. He gave me an elaborate embroidered jacket he brought back from China where he was stationed in the Navy. The jacket pocket had Chuck Lowe embroidered on it. I wore it every day when I was in 6th grade. My nickname became Chuck Lowe.

Colleen,

Dad told us about the jacket and that you wore it everywhere, but he didn't tell us about the name on the jacket pocket. That's cute.
