Nancy Frazier sent this recipe via e-mail for posting on the site... thank you Nancy!

Here's a quick and yummy dessert that our daughter, Karen, makes on holidays.

2 loaves of pound cake (any brand but we like Entenmann's)
2 16 oz. tubs of Cool Whip (or generic brand)
1 quart of strawberries - halved

In a punch bowl, break up the pound cake a little at a time for a layering effect. You will put one layer of pound cake, then a layer of Cool Whip, then the strawberries. You keep doing this in layers until you run out of ingredients. It makes a beautiful presentation in the punch bowl. If you don't have one, you can still put it in any bowl you wish. This is usually enough for at least 8 or 10 people.

When I worked at the local newspaper we put out an employee cookbook and submitted family recipes. Karen's was one of them.
