Just wondering if anyone recognizes the following line of Lowes. I can only go back as far as my great-grandparents, my father passed away recently and never gave us much info:
William Lowe b. approx. 1866? married Nellie McClure b. approx. same
(both from Maine)
son: (my grandfather) Nathaniel Willis Lowe b. 1886, Bridgewater, Mass. d. 3/21/48 in Lowell, Mass.
Married (2nd marriage)Germaine Edwardina Gelinas b. 1898? in Canada d. approx. 1950. Lived in Dracut, Mass.
Children: Robert Donald Lowe (my father)b. 5/12/30 Dracut, Mass. d. 11/17/02 Lakeview Terrace, Ca.
Ed Lowe
Doris Lowe d. approx. 1980's
My father married before my mother and had three children: Robert, Greg and Debbie Lowe. I have three half brothers and sisters out there somewhere!
Any and all help greatly appreciated!
Robin D. Lowe

Hi Robert,
Our Lowes originate in England, come to Virginia, and move to Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. You might want to check the Lowe surname listserv at http://genforum.genealogy.com/lowe/
I have gotten a lot of help there.
Happy hunting,
Sharon
