The Stoner family gathered at the home of Cliff, Devon and Mason Allen this weekend to celebrate the 90th birthday of Grandma Stoner.

The party was attended by her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Rosalie was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1914 at home on the family farm.
We all enjoyed discussing all the changes she has seen in her lifetime; from horses to cars, all the wars, the changes in telephones and technology... to what a family did with their free time in the early 1900's. Grandma laughed at this stating that there was really not much free time at all with the chores on a farm.
When they did relax, the children would play the piano and "fiddle" (Grandma still has this cherished family "fiddle" that dates back to before the Civil War).
Grandma Stoner is still living well, is on her own and drives her own car.
