She was born at 6:48 AM on Wednesday, May 12, 2004. She weighed 7lbs. 11 ozs. and was 20 1/4 inches long.

He weighed 8 lbs. 5 ozs. and was 22 inches long.
He had dark thick hair and blue eyes.
Mom had a c-section after long, long hours of labor with no dilation.

The story of how Grandma and Grandpa met was told to Gloria Gresh Adams, who then told it to me (Sharon Lowe McDonnell):

Gloria says to Grandma, "Tell me how you and Grandpa met." Grandma gives her famous (to us) wry smile and Gloria says, "Grandma, did you steal Grandpa away from another girl?" Grandma shakes her head in the affirmative. Gloria asks, "But where did you first see each other?" Grandma says that Grandpa lived nearby and he and his buddies were having a party and came to borrow chairs from Grandma's parents.

Sam and Adah were married at 7PM in the parsonage of the Free Methodist Church in Detroit, Michigan
